Watching Three of Us made me feel that our memories are really what hold our identity together. What stayed with me most was the quiet idea that even when life moves on and people change, some emotions never truly leave us. Shailaja’s journey into her past felt less like nostalgia and more like a search for the pieces of herself she was afraid to lose.

To me, the film gently says that life is about accepting impermanence. We cannot hold on to every person, place, or moment forever, but their feelings remain within us in subtle ways. I came away feeling that forgetting is painful, yet there is also something deeply human and peaceful in making peace with what fades.

It felt like a soft reminder to me that we are made as much by what we remember as by what we learn to let it go.
