A contemporary tropical home rooted in Kerala’s architectural language.

Spread across approximately 6,000 sq. ft., this residence brings together sloping tiled roofs, warm timber, earthy textures and lush tropical landscaping to create a calm, timeless living environment.

Deep verandahs, generous roof overhangs and shaded transitional spaces respond naturally to the tropical climate, while the carefully balanced material palette gives the home a distinctly contemporary character.
From the layered roofscape to the warm, landscaped courtyards, every element is designed to create a seamless connection between architecture, nature and everyday living.

A home shaped by light, material and the landscape.

Set in Tirur, this residence brings together the warmth of timber, the raw character of exposed brick and the quiet softness of earthy tones. Large openings draw the surrounding greenery into the interiors, while carefully crafted screens, skylights and courtyards create a seamless dialogue between inside and out.

From the tactile brickwork to the timber-lined ceilings and filtered daylight, every element is designed to make the home feel grounded, warm and deeply connected to its tropical setting.

A contemporary home, rooted in its place.

CHEMBARATHI - PHASE 2
Wayanad, Kerala

A boutique resort, for those who seek to hear nature’s music from the wilderness, those who love the terrain of the hills, for those who seek solace in the rattles of the dark nights, nestled in the parallels of trees upright, to disconnect oneself from the chaos of urban life and listen to one’s heart beating in tune with the silver owl hooting amidst rustling leaves.

With an average slope of 30degrees, the project required a design that nestles within cozily, one that does not hold its head too high, but mingles with the natural flora and fauna, and creates a niche space for nature lovers who seek solace in the lap of the thriving forest.

THE GARDEN BLISS

The design evolved through strong visual and spatial connections to nature, creating a series of interconnected living zones that extend beyond the built form. Open verandahs, transitional courtyards, and shaded living areas allow light, breeze, and greenery to become an integral part of everyday living.
