The Living Archive, a space that came together through many different hands and ideas.
At this year’s Design Democracy, our rugs found their place alongside the work of some incredible designers, brought together by Atelier Varun Goyal.

A few glimpses from behind the scenes before the doors opened at Design Democracy 2026. Rugs unrolled, pieces placed, details adjusted and our space at C36 slowly coming together.

It’s been lovely watching people pause, look closer, touch the textures and experience the work beyond a screen.

Two days in, and we’re taking in all the conversations around the pieces. Tomorrow is the final day at HITEX, Hyderabad. Come experience Loops in person.

Alluvial Drift takes its cues from what water leaves behind. Deposits, channels and forms that never quite repeat. Different pile heights turn that idea into something you can actually feel, with ridges, softer fields and raised pockets across the rug.

The difference isn’t subtle.

We’ve always liked the idea that a rug can do more than occupy the floor. It can introduce contrast, make an odd pairing suddenly make sense, or give a room the weight it was missing.

Not necessarily the finishing touch. Sometimes, it’s the piece everything else was waiting for.
