Rainwater harvesting doesn’t have to be a complicated addition to a project. With a considered drainage system, rainwater can be collected and directed to a recharge pit, allowing it to return to the ground and support the groundwater table.

For us, responsible design also means thinking about what happens beyond the built space. Whether a project is large or small, making room for systems that conserve and replenish our resources is a choice worth making.

A haven for visitors to immerse themselves in the wonders of the natural world, the Natural History Museum is designed as an immersive journey that brings learning to life through storytelling and experience.

Every space is thoughtfully composed to spark curiosity, guiding visitors through different environments, species and stories. Spatial planning, large-scale exhibits, lighting, visual communication and materiality work together to blur the line between a conventional museum and an experiential environment.

The design invites visitors to see, explore and connect with the natural world, turning learning into an experience that stays with them.

Materials set the tone of a space.

The right combination of texture, colour, finish and form can create warmth, depth and a sense of cohesion, turning individual elements into a considered whole.

Good design is often found in how things come together.

THE 0522 NOTES — 01. A collection of thoughts, observations and little truths we pick up along the way.

About architecture.
About materials.
About making.
About the things that make a space feel like itself.

The Office ft. Studio0522

Second Saturday lunch hours at Studio0522 mean one thing, a good old debrief.

A look back at the timeline of events from the past month, what we’ve learnt, what we’ve accomplished, and what’s lined up ahead.

Followed by plenty of laughter, joy, debates, and of course, a good lunch.🍴

The art isn’t just in the finished space. It’s in the site visits, the conversations, the details, the revisions, the dust, the decisions and everything that happens in between.

A little look into the process behind the work.
