A beautifully crafted vintage brass fish lamp, with its pierced body, tiny fins and the curved stem holding the diya above.

It’s one of those old pieces where even something functional was made with so much character.

And things like these are simply not made anymore. ❤️

This lithograph brings together two of Raja Ravi Varma’s most iconic devotional images — **Lakshmi and Ganesha**.

His Lakshmi became one of the most recognisable images of the goddess in Indian homes, while his Ganesha helped shape the way the deity appeared in popular devotional art.

Both images were printed and circulated widely, taking Ravi Varma’s art far beyond royal courts and galleries and into ordinary homes.

That is what makes this picture so special — two of his most loved divine figures brought together in a single lithograph.
