BRB, cleaning up the cr!me scene, I swear the threads keep flying everywhere and the weapon (🪡) has vanished..once again!

Jumping on to this trend cause an embroidery pun can never hurt anyone, or can it? (My friends who visit me at my place would say otherwise, they’ve found my needles in places where they never should’ve found them)

Perhaps the most satisfying before and after 🪡

A custom 12” hoop, embroidered over 35+ quiet, patient hours 🌿

Everything about this artwork was just so dreamy to embroider— a wild field of flowers, the broken tile paths, the lovely couple, lost in their own little world, their outfits complementing each other! 🤍

There’s something about this artwork, the way it came together, slowly 🌱

Still in awe of it, this one is definitely for the books ✨🪡

NGL, masterji makes it worth it, every time!

I absolutely love going on sourcing runs for my business— the changing trends, the timeless classics. Every visit to these markets teaches me something new: what’s hot, what’s not, what’s rising, and what’s fading.

The only thing I am not a fan of? The tiny lanes packed with rickshaws and autos— barely any room to walk. The number of times my foot has almost come under an e-rickshaw’s front wheel is honestly alarming!

But somehow, I still enjoy it all— face covered with a mask, hair wrapped in a dupatta, a tote bag filled with fruit snacks and a bottle of water… shared with masterji, which is rare otherwise! 🍊🫐

Oh and also occasional kindness from strangers ✨

For ‘Saransh and Coco’ 🐾

I customised these embroidery hoops in the March of 2023, the month I was house-hunting and was gonna switch to a different place after 2 years. I remember I wasn’t in a great head-space cause of the stress of moving + the emotional angle of leaving my old place. I’ve always said that embroidery is my safe space, my safest place!

In those moments when I was working on these commissioned projects, I’d take a pause from all the stress and it’d just be me and ‘my’ embroidery.

Embroidery for me is a “way of life”

Birthday gift for a ‘September’ baby! 🎀

Three years ago, I had the pleasure of creating this customized embroidery hoop as a birthday gift for a September-born friend. I loved bringing together the design elements—a cozy scene of her sitting on the couch with a book and coffee, her two dogs nestled nearby. The birthdate is embroidered like a number plate, and the wall behind her features her favorite characters, Pikachu and Snorlax. This composition beautifully captures her comfort zone and the things she loves most.
