A technology which was imported to the coastal town of Mangalore centurys ago, now is know all over as the Mangalore tile roof.
A beauty of Indian design is the ability of the subcontinent to internalise ideas such that it seems only natural that it is Indian to begin with itself.
A house in a farm is an attempt at bringing this appropriation of ideas and technology to the rural everyday life. It's not a second home visited occasionally to ponder life on. It is to be lived day in and day out, by people who live hands on in the fields and and with the modern world corporate.
