We recently completed this living room design in Falnir, Mangalore, and it's a space that truly reflects the balance we strive for in every project: contemporary sophistication paired with a sense of warmth and ease.
The brief was clear. The homeowners wanted a living area that felt uncluttered yet layered, modern yet timeless. They wanted a space where natural light played a central role, and where every piece of furniture contributed to the overall flow without overwhelming the senses.
Our approach to interior design in Mangalore begins with understanding not just what a space looks like, but how it will be lived in. For this project, we chose a soft neutral palette of beiges, warm browns, and whites to create a calming backdrop. The curved, sculptural sofas anchor the room while maintaining an open, breathable layout. We introduced custom fluted wall paneling and textured three-dimensional wall art to bring depth and visual intrigue without adding visual clutter.
Lighting was treated as both functional and decorative. A sleek black ceiling fan, layered pendant lighting, and recessed fixtures ensure the room feels warm and inviting at any time of day. The cane-paneled console in the entryway niche adds a tactile, organic contrast to the otherwise clean-lined interiors.
