At Vana house, the terrace was designed as a room in its own right, not an afterthought tacked onto the living space.

We chose woven aluminium seating for its texture against the concrete, kept the planting layered rather than manicured, and let the glass balustrade disappear so the skyline could do the rest.

Come golden hour, the terrace holds its own light. It’s proof that outdoor spaces deserve the same intent as the ones indoors.

Lime coat texture on the walls, for depth. Spanish tiles in the kitchen, chosen for their character and durability. Onyx marble at the temple, to catch the light differently through the day. Natural veneer paneling in the bedroom, for warmth.

The Vana House began with one idea: bring the outdoors in.

A living green wall anchors the balcony, sage-textured plaster runs through the bedrooms, and every surface was chosen to soften with light rather than compete with it.

Warm wood tones ground the palette, while pops of terracotta and denim blue in the upholstery keep it from feeling too quiet. The result is a home that reads as calm from every angle, yet never flat.

The channel-tufted headboard anchors the space, but it’s really the palette that does the work, taupe leatherette against a textured grey wall, softened further by ivory linens and a single quilted throw.

We kept the materials tactile rather than decorative, so the room reads calm without feeling bare.

A chocolate velvet headboard with channel tufting sets a moody, tactile base. We balanced it with soft linen layers, warm ambient lighting and a marble-top nightstand to keep things grounded. Small touches, the stone accent panel, the curated art, the greenery, do the rest
