For this living space, we used a deep burgundy as the defining colour, drawing from colour theory to bring richness, warmth and a sense of intimacy into the room. Rather than treating it as an accent, we allowed the colour to become the architectural backdrop, layering it with warm wood, soft neutrals and subtle lighting to create balance.

The result is a space that feels bold yet inviting, dramatic yet deeply comfortable.

For this dining space, Aakaarmay Interiors embraced bold colour theory, pairing deep burgundy with rich walnut tones and warm metallic accents to create depth, drama, and visual balance. A timeless dialogue between tradition and modern living. Designed by Aakaarmay Interiors, this dining space brings the warmth of Gujarati design into a contemporary home. Traditional touches, from the cane furniture and earthy wooden tones to the handcrafted textiles, pottery, botanical artwork and rich green accents, are thoughtfully paired with clean cabinetry, soft neutrals and modern proportions.
