Interics Interics is a Mumbai based Interior Design firm established in 1987 headed by Mr. Vipul Mazumdar.

A nursery designed for today, but planned for years ahead.

For this room, storage came first. The brief was to create a space that could evolve beyond the cot, adapting to different stages of childhood without requiring a complete redesign.

Full-height cabinetry maximises vertical space, while rounded white shutters and open niches soften the warmth of the wood, keeping the room light and child-friendly.

Cane-front wardrobes introduce texture and ventilation, and the illustrated panels bring a sense of playfulness without relying on a themed aesthetic.

A mirror, dresser, toy display shelves, and concealed storage are seamlessly integrated into a single wall, allowing the room to remain organised, open, and easy to use every day.

The blue illustrated wallpaper brings in the character of the room, while the floating desk, dark shelves, and full-height wardrobe keep the space clean and functional.

A crib by the window, geometric wardrobe shutters, marble details, and a ceiling with scattered pin lights complete the room without making it feel overdone.

The dining table is a composition of two materials a dark wood perimeter holding a marble centre,where the green, white, and black veining.

Above the table, the linear chandelier with smoked-glass globes adds height, reflection, and detail without overpowering the setting.

The material transitions,ribbed panelling,a black dividing strip, textured grey wall covering, and a geometric ceiling grid all add depth to the dining experience.

The dining area sits within the larger living space.

We used the wall behind it as the main design surface, layering a textured finish with black marble strips to create rhythm and height. The fluted panel on one side continues the vertical language seen across the home, while the marble flooring keeps the base clean and consistent.

The table was kept sculptural through its stone top and curved base, paired with leather chairs that bring comfort without adding visual weight.

The linear chandelier was placed to hold the dining composition together, adding focus above the table while keeping the overall view of the living space open.

For this living room the layout is kept open and grounded 

The textured white wall installation becomes the main architectural feature behind the seating. 

The TV wall takes a more defined direction, with dark vertical fluted panelling meets a white marble slab cut with strong black veining.

For the entrance we worked with a mix of strong surfaces and sculptural details from the branch-like mirror with its dark blue stone detail to the black-and-white geometric flooring that sets the direction of the passage.

The darker wall panels bring weight to the entry, while the vertical light detail cuts through the texture.

The cross-shaped wall lights, ribbed glass, and gold-toned ceiling panel were added to bring in smaller layers of detail without overpowering the space.
