This was a tough call to redesign an apartment without altering its existing layout , civil works, electrical and carpentry. We needed to turn this around with the latest materials, tech available , style it to reflect the individuality and differing tastes of each family member with an eye to the strict budget given. The results are here to be seen by adding a feature light art piece from .studio , amazing bespoke furniture from , walls enhanced by wallcoverings collections of , and furniture , windows dressed in curated European furnishings by .

Presenting the apartment at .....Mumbai .....it is always a challenge working on such projects where time and budget are both restrictive. This was one project that had commenced last year in Feb and completed in Jan 2021 with 5 months of no work allowed due to lockdown restrictions. With 9-12 people working from August end 2020 till Jan we completed this simple yet subtle luxury project. The floors are in beautiful grey beige marble and with vertical surfaces in wallcoverings ranging from a general zen silk texture one flowing through all the rooms to the highlight ones creating focal points within the otherwise serene spaces. All doors and fixed panels are finished in Antique grey sucupira veneer which has been trimmed with matt finished rose gold edge or insert.
Photography of the details is under process as we await installation of the Art works and the accessories.

This was a project picked up as a challenge of transforming an existing semifurnished apartment into one which reflected the personality, the youth, energies of this Young couple, their Kids and their very vivacious, elegant Mother. The task was working out solutions without involving any changes to existing civil works,false ceilings ,toilets, kitchen,electrical works and the not so aesthetically appealing doors, frames or the already done generic wardrobes. Working within these provided parameters the results are here for you all to see...this is after photos as we eagerly await the bespoke furniture pieces being manufactured in Gurgaon by a dear friend, a renowned furniture, product designer and manufacturer to complete this Cinderella story...hopefully we truly played the role of the fairy God Mother and have done justice to fulfil the dreams and expectations of those who shall reside here..Will try and post the before photos

The tough task of taking a small space & planning it as per your clients requirements ...taking a Mole Hill and making a Mountain of it is so much harder than the large homes we have been working on for so long...started a new project in an Iconic Address at Worli & was really disappointed by the sorry planning and area which has tried to fit a 4 BHK layout that can barely give a decent 3BHK plan.What can one fit in a bedroom of 2.45 m × 4.0 m & 2 no bedrooms of 2.8 m x 4.0m & add vastu to this puzzle solving layout.To think they are paying for luxury and getting a pigeon hole...ok a gold gilded one with some shared amenities...

Detailing out the dining entry doors. Bronze tint glass with sandwich mesh in between & trimmed with brush gold metal strips. Beautiful hand crafted lights in antique gold leaf and black mother of pearl will adorn the door on either side from a brushed gold metal rod trimming the 2 toned wooden flutes. Back panel in wall covering....sublime ...and yet this is just one area of the entire house..
