Art and travel are my biggest passions and inspiration as a designer... So no surprises, that the amazing art island of Naoshima in Japan, was on my bucket list for years!

I was absolutely enamored by the stunning and playful artworks of , the detailing and beauty in the simplicity of architecture, and many more artists throughout the island!!!

Staying at Sanamane Naoshima glamping tents on the beach was the perfect accommodation, especially with the pumpkin inspired sauna design as an ode to Yayoi's iconic yellow pumpkin!

Highly recommend adding Naoshima island to your Japan itinerary if you're an art and design enthusiast!

This 1700 sf 3 BHK located in south Mumbai is a palette of colours, prints and textures. We wanted to use Indian materials and finishes, and incorporate furniture and accessories created by local artisans and brands, rather than importing furniture from Italy etc.

The clients have travelled the world extensively and own an impressive collection of artefacts from different countries—they wanted to give these memorabilia a place of pride in this apartment. Additionally, we also wanted to upcycle and reuse the furniture that they already owned.

Since they are only two people living in a 2,000 sqft, 3 BHK home, we retained the large living area as one open space, but visually divided the space into a formal dining area, formal seating area and a casual balcony vibe area which doubles up as a bar/ coffee area. They enjoy entertaining guests and wanted a large open area for this purpose.

The main design theme is eclectic. We experimented with various materials for the flooring, from marble, tile to solid hardwood flooring. It was possible to use different materials for each space as the rooms were large with high ceilings and plenty of natural light.

Check out this shots of the kitchen we recently designed!

We completely broke down the previous kitchen and changed the colour scheme to blues, white and taupe.

We opted for black tinted glass shutters for the overhead cabinets only in the storage unit in this niche to separate it from the rest of the u shaped kitchen design. It also gave the clients a chance to display their colourful crockery!

A light quartz counter also brightened up the kitchen interiors and for contrast, we used printed dark blue flooring. The leftover pieces were put to use on the vertical wall as you can see in this image on the right side!
