Studio Wodehouse was founded by Shonali Mahajan in 2014. After graduating from the Domus Academy in Milan in 2009, Shonali has worked with several award winning Architectural, Interior & Product design firms both in India & Milan such as Matteo Nunziati, Pinakin , Neterwala & Aibara & Fusion Access. Studio Wodehouse continues to associate with Matteo Nunziati and is the India & Middle East representative for Business Development & Project Management. With many prestigious projects in the Residential, Hospitality, Private Office, Retail & Product design field under her belt, Shonali now runs her own bespoke design studio. Studio Wodehouse aims to be a one stop shop for the interior space. From wall treatments, to lighting & textiles, we hope to provide you with a truly bespoke space.

Our Story

We are a young and dynamic Interior Design Studio in Mumbai, India, and we are trying to make our mark in the world and put ourselves on the map. We strive to apply our design in a contemporary definition using traditional Indian craftsmanship and creating original, unique and bespoke designs. Our design process is an intensive and detailed dialogue with the client, but what emerges is an exclusive and tailored product that one can only describe as a pure work of art.

About Shonali Mahajan & Studio Wodehouse:

Proficient in the field of Interior Design, Studio Wodehouse founder: Shonali Mahajan, has a profound love for all things Interior. Having worked with several award-winning Architectural, Interior & Product design firms both in India & Milan such as Matteo Nunziati, Pinakin, Neterwala & Aibara & Fusion Access, she decided to go out on her own to create a one stop shop for the Interior Space in 2014.

With a Masters in Interior Design at the Domus Academy in Milan, Italy and the guidance of industry stalwarts, Shonali has seamlessly brought together international standards of design with Indian craftsmanship; while continuing to create a niche for herself.

Studio Wodehouse is a small, but extremely passionate team of over a dozen Architects, Interior & Furniture Designers who work individually and collaboratively on each project. We not only have in-house talent to conceptualise and create designs, we also have a wide network of Indian and International affiliates that work with us to bring our vision to life. From conceptualization to ex*****on, we strive to create timeless yet relevant spaces. With keen attention to detail, we adopt a 360* approach to design that delivers simultaneously on both beauty and functionality.

We also collaborate and are affiliated with international talents like Matteo Nunziati ( http://www.matteonunziati.com ) to provide our clients with different international styles, concepts and ideas that are then executed by us. Matteo Nunziati is considered one of the most influential international architects and designers of his generation. Specialized in luxury hotels, wellness centers, SPA and residential projects, he has realized projects over the years in Italy, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India, Maldives, China & USA. His most prominent projects include those of the Trump Towers in Pune & Fraser Suites West Bay in Doha, Qatar.
