The modern workplace often assumes open plans must sacrifice privacy for collaboration. For the 360 ONE workspace, the challenge was accommodating both focused individual work and dynamic team energy without building isolating walls. By observing how people transition between tasks, we understood that openness and privacy are not inherently opposites. They are deliberate design decisions. True privacy in a collaborative setting is about managing sightlines and light, not completely enclosing the user.
To resolve this tension, the design relies on calibrated spatial elements rather than rigid partitions. The main floor uses carefully considered screen heights at the workstations to create quiet zones, giving individuals a sense of focus without disconnecting them from the room. This philosophy carries over to the meeting spaces. Fluted glass provides necessary visual privacy for the occupants inside while still allowing natural light and the movement of the office to filter through.
The result is an environment shaped precisely by how the space is used. By choosing intelligent dividers over solid barriers, the workspace creates quiet without isolation, supporting deep focus while remaining bright and actively connected to the rest of the floor.
