We are filled with immense pride to announce that Alcove Designs has been honored with the prestigious Aces of Space Award for Public/Institutional Project of the Year. receiving this recognition for our work on ATLAS SkillTech University – Phase 2 is a defining moment for our firm. This project was envisioned to be more than just a physical space; it was designed as a future-ready ecosystem that is flexible, technology-enabled, and deeply human in its academic experience. Being recognized by one of India’s most esteemed design platforms validates our belief in creating environments that truly inspire learning and possibility.

This achievement would not have been possible without the trust and vision of Mr. Siddharth Shahani and the team at Atlas SkillTech University. A huge thank you for the insightful contribution made at during the panel discussion, "Designing for Digital - Blending Technology With Human Experience."

Kulin Kapadia, Founder & Principal, Alcove Designs, brought forward truly thought-provoking perspectives on the crucial balance between technological innovation and ensuring a human-centric approach to design in our increasingly tech-enabled workspaces.

We are delighted to unveil our recently completed project for a client in Worli, Mumbai. The brief was to create a contemporary, open, and welcoming workplace for a global executive search firm that reflects their progressive culture. The client envisioned a bright, airy office that balances collaborative zones with areas for focused work, all while maintaining a warm and sophisticated aesthetic.

Our design approach was inspired by natural materials and soft tones to foster a sense of calm sophistication. We used ceiling baffles to provide visual continuity and enhance acoustics within the open plan. The breakout zones introduce muted blush tones and integrated greenery, creating a hospitality-inspired warmth that encourages interaction. The final space is a cohesive, human-centered environment that balances focus and community, embodying a modern and inviting workplace.
