Poonawala is a group of designers working towards providing stylized spaces as an interpretation of their clients’ varied personae and tastes. Having worked on numerous projects over the last 20 years, when it comes to the evolving scope of materials, the aim has always been to use them in their natural tones, complemented by a design sense that goes into the minutest of details. “Form follows function” is not merely the most clichéd dictate in architectural jargon, but is also the firm’s mantra,leading to the final creation of stimulating, modern designs with an asian twist. Led by principal designer Jehan-Ara Poonawala,an innovative conceptualist, each project is approached with fresh ideas, flair and with a challenge to their clients to be market leaders by adopting unique, cutting-edge design modalities. The completed projects have been executed all over the country from Mumbai, Pune, Indore, Ahmedabad, Goa, Delhi, Bangalore, Vapi, Daman etc and internationally in London, Florence, Lusaka, Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar and Dubai. Collaborative brain-storming strategies with the team and with International Consultants when required, have resulted in the use of the most current technologies and resulted in a steady stream of satisfied clients.
