Forged in wrought iron, it carries a candle at its core, while subtle perforations allow it to shift function—serving as an incense or citronella holder. Wisps of smoke drift through eight openings, bringing together utility and atmosphere in a single object, now designed to occupy more, and do more.

Sthir is shaped by the idea of equilibrium. A hand-carved stone figure sits cross-legged at its base, grounded, unmoving, holding visible weight without strain. Above it rests a polished metal cylinder, balanced delicately on the figure’s shoulders. Rough stone meets refined metal across centuries of craft. The composition recalls both a yogic posture and a balance beam.
