Monday Blues? Perhaps Something Deeper
International Klein Blue is not a naturally occurring pigment.
A shade born from obsession, vision, and a search for purity. So thought provoking it needs no brush strokes to be called art, it is an ultramarine blue perfected by French artist Yves Klein in the late 1950s with a Parisian paint dealer. IKB is more than just another blue. It is a revolution born from Klein’s relentless pursuit of perfection. Klein claimed it represented the physical manifestation of cosmic energy that, otherwise invisible, floats freely in the air.
How beautiful it is to let our thoughts wander beyond dimensions, knowing we can approach it, even mimic it, but the perfect shade? Perhaps it remains just out of reach, caught somewhere between art, science, madness, and mystery.
