It's hot but we still need a cuppa something warm to get us through the weekday! Bake up these lil sweet n' savoury biscuits to keep you going. Cannot stop at one!

Ajwain And Jeera Biscuits

Ingredients:
• Butter- 90 Grams
• Icing Sugar -50 Grams
• Salt- 1/2 Tsp
• Baking Flour - 180 Grams
• Baking Powder- 1/2 Tsp
• Baking Soda- 1/4th Tsp
• Ajwain and Jeera -1 Tsp each(reduce for milder flavour)

Method:

• Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and keep aside.
• Cream together with butter and icing sugar till it becomes pale and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes using a hand blender.
• Sift together the dry ingredients - flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add to the creamed mixture.
• Add the spices and mix well. Should the dough not come together, add a few drops of milk. Chill dough for a few hours.
• Roll the dough 3mm thickness in between two parchment paper sheets. Cut into desired shapes and transfer onto a cookie sheet.
• Bake at 170 degrees for 15 minutes, till the edges are golden.
Cool and store in an airtight container. Scrumptious with tea :)
