ज़फ़र कोई मिल जाता
गांधी भी बन जाते गर
नेहरू कोई मिल जाता
गठरी उठाये घूम रहा हूं
इन दोस्तों में मुझे
कान्हा कहीं मिल जाता.

My first day at SPA

हर साल की तरह
एक नयी
फूलों से भरी क्यारी तैयार थी.
एक से एक फूल खिल चुकार था.
या फिर खिलने को तैयार था.
चुने गए थे कुछ बीज
इस क्यारी में रोपने के लिए
सालों के प्रयास से तैयार की थी
ये क्यारी, इस साल भी
कुछ देव जनों ने.
३३ बीज हाथों में लेकर
क्यारी में रोपने के लिए
तीन देव प्रगट हुए
बीज खुद ही हाथों से छिटक कर
बिखर गए उस क्यारी में
देव जनों के हाथ में
केवल अटेंडेंस शीट थी
आनंद प्रकाश शर्मा ....
यस सर.

Translation:

Like every year
The bed full of flowers was ready.
a new one.
One flower after another had bloomed.
Or was ready to blossom.

Some seeds were craft fully selected to plant in the bed, prepared with years of efforts
of a few deva’s.

holding 33 seeds in hands
to plant in bed
three devtas appeared.

The seeds itself got scattered in the nicely laid bed, jumping out of the hands of deva’s.

Only attendance sheet was left in their hands.
