Studio Incept

Studio Incept Interior Architecture Simplicity is the key to our work.

We are a multi-disciplinary design practice with a diverse portfolio of work ranging from retail, hospitality, offices to residential interiors. We take a contextual approach to our work, exploring suitable materials with innovation and enjoying the dynamics of working with clients, design and technical professionals to create a relevant spatial experience. Our strength lies in translating a desig

n concept to a detailed physical form through various explorations of layouts, materials, textures, prototypes and lighting ideas with emphasis on practicality and functionality.

Gallery Espace was envisioned as a platform to celebrate emerging artists — a space for exploration, community engagement, workshops, and meaningful interactions around art.

Housed within what was once a gymnasium, complete with multiple shower areas and a largely utilitarian storage space serving the gallery’s ground floor and basement, the project reimagines the existing structure as a flexible and evolving art environment. Sliding display panels allow the gallery configuration to transform effortlessly, expanding visual display opportunities while adapting to exhibitions of varying scales and formats.

The programme accommodates a working artist studio, discussion and presentation areas, spaces for exhibitions and gatherings, along with a pantry and powder rooms integrated seamlessly into the layout.

A restrained material palette of exposed concrete flooring and crisp white walls provides a neutral backdrop for the artwork to take centre stage. Minimal fluted glass doors introduce subtle texture and softness while maintaining openness and visual continuity throughout the space.
