Portico House takes its cues from two mature Jamun trees.

The trees divide the one-acre site into East and West courts. Shared spaces turn towards the East court, while private rooms face the quieter West court. Deep porticos soften the sun before it reaches the glass, keeping the canopy close without letting glare take over.

ALCOI AluFIT windows frame selected views. SkyLITE lift-and-slide openings extend the living spaces into shaded porticos. Together, they keep the house connected to the trees while preserving the calm within.

House of Mango Shadows is a 3,800 sq ft holiday home set among mango, chikoo and guava trees.

Its living room, dining room, kitchen, pool room and TV lounge form one connected plan. Expansive ALCOI slide-and-fold windows open these shared spaces to the orchard, while screens and display units create loose boundaries within.

The bedrooms take a more private approach. AluLITE sliding openings work with bamboo screens to filter views and exposure without removing the landscape altogether.

Three skylights bring daylight into the house from above.

Large openings rely on what you barely see.

In SkyLINE, the outer frame stays concealed and the shutter profile sits flush. Single panels can reach up to 5 m in height. Four integrated noise barriers help soften outside sound, while track covers give the working parts a clean finish.

At Porch House, the courtyard is designed to receive the day first.

Oriented to the east, it becomes the first surface of light for the home. The formal lounge, dining room, family lounge and bar all open towards it, with windows carefully positioned to frame the courtyard and draw it into daily life. A zinc-clad porch softens the transition between inside and outside, creating a shaded pause before the view opens again.

ALCOI AluFIT, AluLITE and SkyLITE systems define this edge, maintaining a clear visual relationship between the rooms and the courtyard.

Large sliding systems should not make a room harder to use.

SkyLITE carries shutters up to 350 kg through a lift-and-slide mechanism. A long lever handle starts the movement. The 13 mm flush track with a stainless-steel rail keeps the threshold low, while single, double and triple-row INOX tracks support smooth sliding.
The result is a large opening that feels easy to live with.

The Grand Alabaster in Jalandhar is a 20,000 sq ft home by 23DC Architects, shaped by arches, boiserie and double-height rooms.
ALCOI uses AluFIT to bring daylight through the passage, allow ventilation at the dining room and open the corridor to the sky. Flat profiles let the architectural detail lead. The fenestration simply gives light, air and views a way in.
