Nostalgia...

Drafting tools like the set square and theT square, the triangular scale, the drafting board, the ink pens, the furniture and other stencils, the calligraphy pens and the last minute saviours - the whiteners on tracing papers to produce lettering style, dimensions and lines in varied thicknesses to draw plans, sections, elevations and 3D's created not less than a work of art on paper.

These tools remind us about the drafting skills and also in recognising the hard work that went into generating the complex architectural drawings by hand.

However, technology has transformed our world in many ways and autocad and other drafting softwares have been a blessing.

It was only in the late 90's that the CAD software became capable enough to be practical in engineering and architectural design.

The centrally placed staircase of the restaurant layout led to the above zones as one walks in through the main entry along the lengthy balcão of the waiting space outside.

BAR STORIES
A cast in-situ concrete platform with IPS finish and seasoned wooden planks for the panelling work. The high rise tables close to the bar are fitted with carrom board tops and the rotating handcrafted bar stools are all custom made for the restaurant.

Ranchikud through the Posro!
Hearty Congratulations to on the launching of their 75 seater fine dinning restaurant in the picturesque village of Pillar.

We are sure, all the guests will enjoy the classy delights of Mom's Recipes and also the soulful Goan food, besides experiencing some authentic Goan ambience.

Thank you for the opportunity to once again create spaces connecting to our heritage.

The entire Posro setup as well as the kitchen doors have been created using material from an old Goan house, adding to the authenticity of the creation.

Furthermore, our deepest gratitude to MomsRecipes for showcasing the creativity by .decor and highlighting some of the glimpses of the bygone era depicting Goan Heritage.
The blue wall in the background is created using natural indigo powder which was commonly used in old Goan homes with a combination of sea shells powder.

With immense pleasure, passion and the fun of 3.5 months of Civil work, come interior design and custom made furniture.

A glimpse of the 60-seater restaurant with indoor & outdoor seating, a kitchen, a bar, restrooms and more.

Winding up with some final touches!

For a more economical and quick IPS look, the glaze was polished off the vitrified tiles and a similar colour was used to impart the look.

Soft opening today. Will be open to the public shortly!

Embodying minimalism with warmth and comfort.
Solid wooden beds and accessories for two bedrooms.
The third one has been modified into a multi-uitility zone for play, work, study or sleep.
The two 10' high wardrobe doors have been customised to cover up the entire length & width of the space available. The inside has been designed as per the requirement of the occupier and customised into a modular wardrobe.
