Some walls are designed.
Some walls become memories. ✨
This dining wall was one of them.
Our clients didn’t want just another decorative panel or artwork picked from a catalogue. They wanted something that felt rooted, warm, and deeply personal to their home. That’s when we introduced them to Lippan art — a traditional art form from Kutch, Gujarat, known for its beautiful mud work, textures, and mirror detailing that reflects light so beautifully through the space.
But what made this project truly special wasn’t just the art itself.
It was the process behind it.
Instead of outsourcing or installing a ready-made piece, we created a custom gypsum panel on the dining wall and invited our clients to be a part of the making. They hand-worked on the artwork alongside us — shaping patterns, feeling the textures, and slowly watching their wall come to life. 🤍
In a world where everything is fast and factory-made, this wall became something slower, more intentional… something made with their own hands.
To give it a cleaner and more contemporary feel that blended with the rest of the home, we finished the artwork in duco while retaining the raw essence of Lippan art. The mirrors were then carefully placed, catching light through the dining area and adding that soft shimmer the art is known for ✨
Today, it’s not just a dining wall.
It’s a conversation piece.
A memory.
A part of the home that the clients will always feel connected to — because they didn’t just choose it, they created it with us.
