A little look back at Rave Casa. 🤍

From the living room to the bedrooms, the little details and all the corners in between.

A home that slowly came together, room by room, and finally feels complete.

A bedroom should feel grounded the moment you walk in.

For this project, our entire design language revolved around balance: the cool, irregular texture of natural masonry paired against clean upholstery, fluted joinery, and warm walnut tones. Even the asymmetrical layout—prompted by existing site boundaries—became an opportunity to create a layout with genuine character rather than cookie-cutter symmetry.

Sometimes the details that start out as tricky site constraints end up being the very soul of the finished space.

Every space comes with challenges, but the best designs usually happen when you stop fighting them.

When we began working on this bedroom, the rubble stone wall behind the bed was our biggest hurdle. We wanted it to feel earthy, tactile, and raw, but still refined enough to sleep beside. Getting that balance took multiple rounds of grout testing and site tweaks before the texture sat just right under the pendant light.

To anchor everything, a dark wooden datum band ties the stone backdrop directly into the bay window and millwork. It’s a reminder that good design isn’t about hiding site imperfections—it’s about turning them into the room’s identity.

Look a little closer. There’s more to this room than meets the eye.

The striped walls create the first layer of the design, bringing movement and playfulness into the room.

Then come the softer details.

A cloud-inspired wall light.
Bunny-shaped wardrobe handles.
Soft upholstered curves.
A cosy bay-window reading nook.
And a custom bunk bed designed around the room.

We kept the palette warm and neutral so that the playful elements could stand out without making the room feel too themed.

But the detail we love most is probably the one you don’t notice immediately.

The washroom door disappears into the wall.

The panelling continues uninterrupted across the door, making the entrance almost invisible and keeping the entire wall visually clean.

Because good children’s interiors aren’t just about making a room fun. They’re about making every detail work.

What if a kids’ room could feel playful without looking like a theme park?

That was the idea behind this room.

The brief called for a bunk bed, a play area and a space designed for two girls.

So instead of filling the room with colour and obvious themes, we built the playfulness into the details.

Striped walls create movement.
Soft curves make the furniture feel welcoming.
Clouds add a little imagination.
Bunny details bring personality.
And the bay window becomes a cosy little corner to read, relax and dream.

But there’s one detail you might completely miss.

The washroom door is hidden inside the wall panelling.

The grooves continue across the door so seamlessly that the entrance almost disappears.

The result is a room that’s playful enough for childhood, but thoughtful enough to grow with it.

Because sometimes the best children’s spaces are the ones that don’t try too hard to look like children’s spaces.

A little world designed for two. 🤍

For this girls’ bedroom, the brief was simple. A bunk bed, a comfortable space to sleep, and a dedicated area to play.

We wanted the room to feel playful, but not overly themed. So we started with the striped walls and built the rest of the design around soft curves, warm wood and subtle cloud and bunny details.

The bunk bed becomes the centre of the room, with the upper level creating a little world of its own, while the lower level keeps things comfortable and practical.

From the custom bay-window seating and cloud-inspired light to the bunny-shaped wardrobe handles, every detail adds a little personality without taking over the space.

And then there’s our favourite detail. The washroom door is completely concealed within the wall panelling, allowing the grooves to continue seamlessly across the surface.

Playful, practical and designed to grow with them.

It’s the details that make the curves work.

The idea for this master bedroom was simple. Eliminate as many sharp corners as possible and let the room flow.

The TV wall features a custom CNC-cut plywood edge with a soft, wavy rhythm. That detail continues into the curved bed back, rounded side tables and the curved wall treatment near the accent chair.

Even the artwork, lighting and accessories were selected to work with these softer forms.

Nothing feels added just for the sake of it. Every element has a relationship with the next.

That’s what makes the room feel complete.
