House No.302:
Welcome to our latest transformation. This is a 1,500-square-foot, 3BHK premium apartment. The building is about 15 years old, and what started as a simple bathroom renovation quickly evolved into a complete home makeover.
Designed for a family of four—parents and their young children—the goal was simple: a functional, 'no-fuss' home that feels spacious and stays practical for a seven and two-year-old.
Sustainability was at the heart of this project. Instead of discarding the past, we stripped the home down to its bones—new flooring, revamped electricals, and a complete kitchen overhaul—while salvaging the high-quality old furniture. We gave the existing beds and wardrobes a second life with new hardware and updated finishes.
The biggest challenge? The clients didn't want false ceilings nor did we wanted to settle for basic tube lights. We solved this by layering track lights and accents to create warmth without clutter. To make the 1,500 square feet feel even larger, we painted the entire space—ceilings included—in a single, seamless shade, contrasted by warm wooden flooring in the bedrooms
My personal favourite part of this home is how the old wardrobes turned out—they look incredibly classy now. By reusing solid wood frames for the Mandir and moldings, we saved on costs without compromising on soul.
This home has seen two owners before, but today, it’s a perfect blend of old charm and modern functionality. It’s proof that you don't always need to start from scratch to create something truly unique.
