Ginger Brown is an end to end design and manufacturing company of quality home furnishings based in Pune. We specialize in customized bed cover sets, diwan sets, home decor, curtains et al. We have a team of 1 textile designer, 2 Industrial designers, 8 tailors, and a few handwork people. Our designers work with the latest trends and global visual languages. The latest materials and techniques are explored by various methods in out design studio. We also work closely with a lot of interior designers and architects providing functionally apt and aesthetically appealing quality home furnishing designs so that as a team we can put forth complete solutions for home interiors to our clients generating value for all. Various techniques of market survey, current trends and predicting the next makes us innovate and create products, techniques and surfaces which inevitably generate an exclusive output. In terms of design we not only innovate on the aesthetics, colour and form but we also have functional inputs in the design of home furnishing which add the extra edge sought in the tough marketplace today. Apart from this we experiment on surface construction techniques and ornamentation materials and methodology. The design and production department of Ginger Brown is looked after by Anupama Kabra, an alumni of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, where she specialized in textile design. The education at the premier institute of the country has given Anupama exposure into various other fields of design and an overview of various other fields like ergonomics, film and music appreciation, environment perception, anthropology and arts. At the Institute, she explored and studied various techniques of fabric treatment and developed innovative methods of fabric and surface construction. Her study into the History of Textiles and Traditional Indian Crafts and Textiles helped her explore various crafts of surface ornamentation and embellishments. Anupama works with a strong design process involving trend study and analysis, usability and functional enhancements of products, with the emphasis being to suit the product to the user. She has also looked into various techniques of printing and embroidery on fabric of various kinds from all over the country and abroad. Anupama has worked with TCNS, in Delhi where she developed a range of patterns for the company’s brand launch under the name ‘W’. Her interest in Home Decor was discovered when she worked with Textrade, an export house in Mumbai, where her collections were selected and displayed at Heimtex Fair at Germany.
'Ginger Brown' was then developed as a Brand to reach and introduce to people a whole new world of creative designs in Home & Office Decor.
