Designing this master bedroom for the House of Beads felt like weaving a story — one built on comfort, craft, and the kind of elegance that whispers rather than shouts.
The backdrop curves hug the bed softly, the palette feels like a warm exhale, and the textures come together like pieces of a narrative waiting to unfold.
This room is imagined as a personal retreat — a space to pause, breathe, read, rest, and simply be.
Every material chosen, every curve carved, every accent placed builds toward that sense of effortless harmony.

Anchored by a striking winged headboard, the master bedroom at Caractère blends structure and softness—a serene retreat where bold form frames restful comfort.

Designed as the home’s ultimate sanctuary, the master bedroom is anchored by a sculptural winged headboard that commands attention while embracing the bed in a cocoon-like form. The space plays with a palette of bold blues and greys layered with tactile fabrics. Subtle detailing in the furniture and soft furnishings complements the clean lines, while warm lighting enhances the intimate mood. Every element — from the bespoke side tables to wardrobe with an open nook — works in harmony, making this room both a statement and a retreat.

Amoebic curves meet unapologetic glamour—this corner vanity is less ‘furniture’ and more ‘leading lady moment’. Perfect for a little twirl check before making an entrance.

Who said guest bedrooms should be neutral. We gave it personality.✨

In Caractère, the guest bedroom doesn’t play it safe. It’s a cocoon of mauve and layered textures that invites pause, not just stay.
A soft mauve palette, mouldings and sculptural lighting turn this compact space into a curated mood board subtly shifting the mood from day to dusk. A curved ceiling detail mirrors the language of the rest of the home, creating spatial continuity even in stillness. Because even transience deserves intention.

“This living room broke every rule, and still looks this luxe.”
Here’s how we did it, and why it works.

Design Rule #1: Keep Walls Flat
❌ We ditched it.
✔️ We used deep cutouts + textured wallpaper to create depth and dimension without adding furniture.
>> This is visual layering 101.
🧠 Tip in corner: “Layering ≠ Clutter. It’s Controlled Chaos.”

Design Rule #2: No Black in Small Spaces
❌ Says who?
✔️ We used black linear lighting+marble tables+accents to anchor the space without making it heavy.
🎯 Key term: “Anchoring your palette.”

Design Rule #3: Sofa must be Centered.
❌ We curved the rules—literally.
✔️ The asymmetrical layout lets the sectional hug the room, guiding flow and conversation.
💡 Pro Tip: Sofas don’t always need symmetry. They need balance.

“You Need Colours for Personality.”
❌ We kept it neutral
✔️ But look again: Textures, prints, trims, art, and greens = dramatic, yet not overwhelming.
🔥 “The quieter the base, the louder the styling.”

“The Ceiling is just a Ceiling.”
❌ Nope.
✔️ Look up: the rounded ceiling detail adds softness+scale. The floating edges+lighting=chef’s kiss.
👀 Bonus: Makes the space look 10x larger.

Design is NOT one size fits all. Your home doesn’t need to follow trends. It needs to follow you.

Hi! I am Arwa, the creative, fun and aesthetic side of the “line”. I will be your design confidante, throwing aesthetic ideas and Bollywood references your way like it’s free confetti. I am an architect by profession, a writer by passion and a Bollywood Buff by birth. I friend people who get my crazy references and respond correctly, if not, there’s an eye-roll coming your way, JK!😉

As I step out of the corporate girl era and open myself to bigger and better opportunities, I aim to use the experience I have gained over 5years in the industry and put it to good use as I design and execute crafty spaces and homes for you and your loved ones. I have designed cozy, comfort spaces my clients call home till date, but have never been able to add my signature to it; corporate rules you know! But that’s exactly what I wish to do and of course, need no boss when you are the boss, right!
