Found inside my great-grandmother’s boshanam, these 130-year-old brass miniatures look like tiny flying saucers, but they hold a beautiful South Indian wedding secret. They are actually antique toys, perfectly replicating the sacred boxes used by an Achari (goldsmith) to deliver a bride's nuptial chain.
