Chole Bhature Recipe 🍛
A classic breakfast combination of spicy chickpea curry (chole) served with fluffy deep-fried bhature.
Ingredients
For Chole (Chickpea Curry)
2 cups boiled chickpeas
2 onions finely chopped
2 tomatoes chopped
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 green chilies
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves
Lemon slices for garnish
For Bhature
2 cups maida (all-purpose flour)
2 tbsp semolina (rava)
2 tbsp curd
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
Warm water as needed
Oil for deep frying

How to Make Chole
1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
2. Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
3. Mix in ginger-garlic paste and green chilies.
4. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
5. Stir in all spice powders and cook well.
6. Add boiled chickpeas with some water.
7. Simmer for 15–20 minutes until thick and flavorful.
8. Garnish with coriander, onions, sev, and lemon.

How to Make Bhature
1. Mix flour, semolina, curd, sugar, salt, and baking soda.
2. Knead into a soft dough using warm water.
3. Cover and rest for 2 hours.
4. Divide into balls and roll into oval discs.
5. Deep fry in hot oil until puffed and golden.
