To create a balanced look, you can follow these approximate ratios for a standard-sized room:

Outer Wooden Frame:

Keep a width of 15 to 18 inches from the wall on all four sides.

Install 4 recessed spotlights (one in each corner).

Central Recessed Tray:

The center portion should be dropped or recessed by 4 to 6 inches.
