dissima, opaca, rugosa, in- visibile... o tanto altro. Come ogni corpo ha una super cie, anche la pietra può diventare “altro e completamente altro” a seconda delle reazioni che la materia esprime a contatto con lavorazioni e strumenti in grado di sollecitarla. L'approccio della pietra re-interpretata come materia, si trasforma in osser- vazione, approfondimento, divenire ”quel pezzo” all'interno di ”quella casa”, di come lo stesso potrà esprimersi ed interagire con gli altri elementi. Avviene infatti una “sperimentazione spinta”, tesa ad appro- fondire la materia nei suoi mille e più linguaggi, mutevoli a seconda della lavorazione utilizzata, sperimentata, applicata. E' un percorso tecnico-emotivo, sperimentale, avanguardista che non può non attingere dall’antica tradizione, dove le sperimentazio- ni, il tempo, la pazienza e l’accortezza sono le chiavi per ottenere il massimo risultato tecnico ed estetico. “Home is your widest body. It grows in the sun and sleeps in the silent quiet of the night, and is not deprived of dreams” Kahil Gibran. Each home is the expanded body of the person living in it, and it is exactly for this reason that the stone element is solicited to express its different aspec - ts through some unique processing which can make it extremely polished, matt, rough, invisible... or many other. As each body has a surface, also the stone can become “something different or totally different” according to the reactions that the stone shows when in contact with processing and instruments able to solicit it. This detailed pro- cess needs the hand and the eye of the human being; this detailed working method is our mission. Uniqueness
The approach to the stone re-played as natural element transforms the sim- ply looking in observation, in deepening. We observe how and what “that piece” can become inside “that house”, how this element will be able to per- form and interact with the other elements/materials of the house. What happens is in fact a “pushed experimentation” with the speci2c aim to study the stone in its thousand and more languages which change in accor - dance with the processed used, experimented, applied. It is a technical-emo- tional, experimental, path, which draws from the ancient tradition where ex- perimentations, time, patience and shrewdness were and are the keys to achieve the maximum aesthetic and technical result.
