Founded in 1960 by the young Ferdinando Pistore, at the time a stonecutter and artisan and today Chairman of the company, Pistore Marmi is now managed by the second generation. 🌊 MAREA LENTA | A tribute to the ocean.

Presented for the first time at the XXVI Slow Food Monaco Riviera Côte d’Azur Gala, in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, Marea Lenta is a collection inspired by the majesty of the ocean and the importance of protecting its fragile beauty.

Sculpted and hand-finished in Italy by our master artisans in Azul Macaubas, a rare natural stone whose extraordinary shades evoke the colours of the sea, each piece captures the fluidity and grace of ocean waves.

The collection features three elements: a sculptural bread tray, a multi-candle holder and an elegant place card holder. Three expressions of craftsmanship, united by soft, flowing lines that transform the solidity of stone into a harmonious gesture.

More than a tableware collection, Marea Lenta is an invitation to slow down, embrace the rhythm of nature and rediscover the beauty of sharing, with respect for our oceans.

🪚Using dedicated block-cutting machinery, we can shape, reduce and calibrate the thickness of the stone according to the project — from sculptural works to custom slabs in non-standard dimensions.
No limitation to the usual 2 or 3 cm.
Different thicknesses. Bespoke proportions. Maximum freedom.
