Il surf, il kiteboard, il windsurf, sono sport basati sulle vibrazioni: quelle restituite dal mare sulla propria tavola, certo, ma anche quelle che nascono nel proprio cuore e nella propria mente quando si fa qualcosa che si ama profondamente. Sono queste vibrazioni che Aurelio Verdi infonde nelle sue produzioni, e che si propa

gano fino agli utilizzatori dei suoi prodotti. Dalla continua opera di ricerca ed esplorazione di spiagge, mari e componenti nasce allora la linea AV Boards, che racchiude tutta l’esperienza di uno dei shaper di riferimento a livello mondiale, a partire dai materiali. Se è vero, infatti, che i sistemi di costruzione e le soluzioni aerodinamiche di una tavola sono cambiati di poco negli ultimi 20 anni, ciò non deve togliere spazio all’innovazione. Aurelio Verdi, in questo campo, impiega materiali innovativi e tecnologie all’avanguardia come tessuti aramidici, nano carbonio, Vector e Dyneema Fiber. Accorgimenti che rendono le tavole più resistenti, leggere, vivaci e reattive, e che si avvalgono anche della scelta dei materiali migliori nel campo aerospaziale e navale. Solo così, allora, è possibile trasmettere appieno tutti i vari messaggi lanciati dal mare, le sue incertezze, i suoi cambi di direzione, ma anche il soffio del vento che disturba e disorienta, per poi dare una nuova sferzata di energia.

What an incredible week!!

The 2026 PWA Slalom X season has come to an end, and we’d like to congratulate the AV Boards team for an outstanding performance.

Lohan Jules finished the event in an impressive 10th place overall, confirming his place among the fastest riders in the world. His 2nd and 3rd place « best » finishes in individual eliminations demonstrated both his speed and consistency, proving he has what it takes to fight at the very front.

A special mention also goes to Tristan Algret. Returning to competition with limited physical preparation, he showed that experience, determination, and talent can still make the difference. Reaching an elimination final after his comeback is a strong achievement and an encouraging sign for what’s ahead.

Both riders used the all-new 2026 Modena. The results confirmed that the new shapes are a significant step forward compared to the previous generation. At the same time, racing at the highest level gives us invaluable feedback, helping us understand where we can improve even further. Our mission is to keep refining every detail to deliver the fastest, easiest, and most enjoyable boards possible.

Because in the end, it’s all about having fun on the water.

We are incredibly proud of both riders and grateful for the commitment they have shown throughout the event. These performances motivate the entire AV Boards team as we continue to develop the fastest and most competitive equipment possible.

More than a board. More than a signature.

After more than 2 years of development, we’re proud to introduce the NEW AV Boards Camille Juban Pro Model.

This project was developed hand in hand with Camille Juban and Alain Heurtault (AL Boards, Guadeloupe), the shaper behind many of Camille’s most iconic boards.

We at Av Boards didn’t just put a rider’s name on an existing shape.

We brought Camille’s real magic board into production, giving every rider access to the same shape he trusts in world-class waves.

The round tail delivers the smooth, flowing turns and radical rail-to-rail surfing style that define Camille’s riding. Built to excel in clean down-the-line conditions, it is also surprisingly fast to plane and incredibly effective in side-onshore waves, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of conditions.

Built in our new NX Core construction with strategic carbon reinforcements, the board combines exceptional strength with an incredibly light feel, delivering instant acceleration, precise control and a lively, responsive ride.

From a small workshop to the world’s most legendary waves.

As a small independent brand, we couldn’t be prouder to see our boards represented at Cloudbreak, Fiji, one of the most iconic and demanding wave sailing events on the planet.

To be part of this incredible stage, surrounded by the best sailors and the most challenging conditions, is both an honor and a motivation to keep pushing forward.

A huge thank you to Camille Juban for carrying our colors into the heart of one of windsurfing’s ultimate proving grounds.

Moments like these remind us why we build boards.
