Architecture and Interior Design firm, Spagnulo & Partners has been founded in Milan by Federico Spagnulo with the collaboration of Alessandra Carbone and Andrea Spagnulo and it now has a staff of 15 people, including employees and associates. Great emphasis is placed on using Italy’s world-renowned strengths in high quality interior craftsmanship, providing the necessary continuity between the project and its realization, as well as defining the distinctive way of doing “Italian Interiors”. Despite its knowledge and experience covering the whole world of Architecture and Design, Spagnulo & Partners is particularly focused on Interior Design projects for luxury mansions and hotels, both in Italy and abroad.

For EDIT Napoli 2026, Spagnulo & Partners designed Velìa, a site-specific installation created with Simmons for Camera con vista.
The project begins with the most essential idea of sleeping: a place built around the body, shaped by its surroundings to provide rest and protection.
From this thought, the room becomes a changing landscape. A suspended bed defines its centre, while two light surfaces respond to the movement of air, revealing an invisible presence: the wind.
Architecture becomes movement.
The room becomes landscape.

Throughout this Milanese residence, Spagnulo & Partners approaches lighting as an integral part of the interior architecture. Large suspended elements introduce a lighter counterpoint to the material presence of the original floors, creating a dialogue between what anchors the space and what inhabits it from above.
Glass, reflections and transparency interact with the richly textured terrazzo surfaces below. Among the lighting pieces, Angelo Mangiarotti’s iconic Giogali elements in Murano glass introduce another layer to this relationship, allowing light to fragment and multiply across the interiors.
Rather than acting as an addition to the space, lighting becomes part of its composition — shaping perception, establishing rhythm and revealing the character of its materials.

In Casa Duse, architecture sets the rhythm.
Designed by Gigiotti Zanini in 1934 within the cultural context of the Novecento movement, the building retains a strong architectural identity. Spagnulo & Partners works within this existing language, using furnishings and new interventions to frame its original features and enhance the perspective, geometry and remarkable seminato floors.

Spagnulo & Partners in this residential project uses material continuity to connect surfaces, furnishings and architectural elements into a coherent spatial sequence.
Bespoke wood panelling extends from wardrobes to walls and ceilings, while the original chestnut parquet establishes a continuous material ground. Changes in texture, reflections and carefully designed transitions mark different functions without interrupting the perception of the whole.
This approach is particularly evident in the private area, where bedroom, dressing room and bathroom are conceived as interconnected spaces rather than separate rooms. Here, detail becomes architecture: a means of guiding the eye, defining thresholds and allowing one space to flow naturally into the next.

In this Milanese residence in Piazza Duse, Spagnulo & Partners engages with the existing architecture by allowing its original character to remain visible while introducing a distinctly contemporary language.
The historic terrazzo floors become one of the project’s defining elements: unique surfaces made in situ from fragments of marble and glass, carrying the material memory of the house. Rather than replicating their language, the new interventions establish a deliberate dialogue with them through clear geometries, bespoke furnishings and carefully calibrated materials.
The result is a balance between permanence and transformation, where the existing architecture is neither a backdrop nor a constraint, but an active part of the project.

The yacht’s design of Spagnulo & Partners stems from the constant connection between the human dimension and the sea. The interiors embrace the light, reflections and colours of the landscape, while the outdoor spaces become a natural extension of life on board. Colours, patterns and furnishings with a strong artistic identity accompany the transition between inside and outside, creating a fluid and ever-changing experience. The creative energy of Warhol and Basquiat thus dialogues with the horizon, giving shape to a project where art, design and nature interact. The yacht becomes a unique space, open to the landscape and shaped by the movement of the sea.

A floating gallery, where art, design and sailing converge. On board a yacht, Spagnulo & Partners imagines a project inspired by the creative and unconventional energy of Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Iconic patterns, vibrant colours and furnishings reinterpreted through an artistic lens transform the space into a manifesto of freedom and experimentation. The experience thus becomes a visual and sensory journey, in which luxury moves away from restraint to become an expression of identity. A project that celebrates art as a universal language and the yacht as a privileged setting for cultural contamination.

Living on board means inhabiting a space in constant motion, where the landscape changes along with the light, the routes and the passing days. Spagnulo & Partners interprets the spaces of the yacht as a constant dialogue between the interior and the sea, transforming sailing into an immersive experience. The creative energy of Warhol and Basquiat characterises the interiors through vibrant colours, iconic patterns and furnishings reinterpreted as artistic statements. Colour accompanies the horizon, whilst each space becomes part of a visual narrative that evolves throughout the journey. The yacht is thus transformed into a travelling home and a floating gallery: a private space open to the vastness of the sea, where luxury goes hand in hand with the freedom to move, observe and inhabit new landscapes.

As in ancient alchemical tables, each element represents a stage of transformation: oxidised metal, the iridescent reflection of the surfaces and the imperfect weave of the fabrics become traces of a continuous, never-ending process.
Paesaggi Alchemici, a unique work designed by Spagnulo & Partners and presented at Hoperaperta, was created in collaboration with Fischbacher 1819 and Gruppo Censeo Srl. The folding screen approaches spatial division not as mere separation, but as a threshold: an intermediate space where matter and imagination meet, generating a surface of formal synthesis in constant transformation.

Design. Materials. Metamorphosis. Interior landscape.
For "Pottergeist. Archetypes, Symbols, Forms, Images”, curated by Hoperaperta as part of Salerno Design Week from 16 to 20 September, Spagnulo & Partners designed Paesaggi Alchemici in collaboration with Fischbacher 1819, realized by Gruppo Censeo Srl. The project interprets the threshold not as a line of separation, but as a space of relation. Across its three panels, oxidised metal, iridescent reflections and textile fragments overlap, interrupt one another and partially reveal what lies beneath.
Surfaces and materials become part of a layered composition shaped by transformation, memory and time. Nothing appears entirely fixed: each element contributes to an object conceived as an interior landscape in continuous evolution.
