Enclosing history within a geometric void of light, steel, and culinary theater.
A rigorous spatial design proposal and exercise in adaptive reuse, envisioned for the shell of a forgotten 16th-century cloister in Lombardy. Guided by a profound respect for architectural heritage, the authentic, weathered texture of the historic brick colonnades is preserved untouched, serving as a dramatic boundary for hyper-modern interventions.
Beneath a newly engineered glass canopy, an ethereal light installation floats above a state-of-the-art stainless steel culinary island—designed not just as a kitchen, but as a striking theatrical stage for haute gastronomy. A glowing onyx bar grounds the space, creating a deliberate, respectful friction between the past and an unapologetic, cutting-edge dining experience.
