Wait… Plastic comes from oil?

Let’s rethink how we print. At Signify myCreation, we believe lighting should shine for the planet, not against it. That’s why we print the 3D parts of our luminaires with up to 75% recycled and bio-circular materials, instead of virgin fossil-fuel-based plastic. Yes - most plastics still come from crude oil, a fossil fuel, but we’re changing that, one layer at a time. From recycled PET bottles and old water jugs to cooking oil waste and even decommissioned streetlights (coming veryyyy soon) - we’re proving that waste can fuel great design.

In partnership with Signify myCreation, Taipei 101’s SkyPark has integrated lighting with a circular design concept in mind. Through the use of 3D-printed luminaires made from recycled materials and modular systems, the project proved that sustainable design can be both practical and striking.

SkyPark didn’t just focus about design - it’s about setting a new standard for what happens when innovation and sustainability come together to create a space that leads by example.
