In this reel, an interview by Antonia from the Studio Marco Piva team reveals the vision behind the installation and the dialogue between Radici and Zambaiti Parati — two distinct languages connected through material, colour, and perception.

From Pigments to Orizzonti Sospesi, the project unfolds as a sensory journey where nature, gesture, and surface meet within suspended frames. A space where design is not only seen, but experienced through light, rhythm, and emotion.

FRAMES, conceived by Studio Marco Piva for Milan Design Week 2026, presents a curated dialogue between Radici and Zambaiti Parati.
Inside the installation, the new Pigments collection by Radici and Orizzonti Sospesi by Zambaiti Parati define a spatial system where horizontal and vertical surfaces interact through colour, material and light.
Carpets and wallpapers construct a layered environment in which perception is guided through rhythm, thresholds and visual saturation. White LED lines expand the spatial reading, creating a progressive experience that connects each frame into a continuous narrative.
An installation where design becomes structure, and perception becomes movement.

At Milan Design Week 2026, FRAMES becomes an immersive dialogue between material, colour and perception.
Within the installation designed by Studio Marco Piva, the complementary languages of Radici and Zambaiti Parati come together in a sequence of suspended frames, where surfaces and textures unfold like still images in motion.
Inspired by nature and by the gesture of colour, the project explores contrast and harmony, balancing stillness and vibration.
A shared vision that transforms perception into experience.

“The Lightness of Stone” exhibition at Studio Marco Piva during Fuorisalone presented a curated selection of works exploring stone reinterpreted through the concept of lightness.
The collective imagination that traditionally associates stone with weight and immobility is overturned: imposing pieces deceive the senses: heavy only in appearance, yet surprisingly evanescent in both touch and perception.

At Milan Design Week, in the heart of Superstudio Events (Superstudio Più in Tortona Design District), the PolyPiù Cathedral by Studio Marco Piva for PolyPiù redefined polycarbonate as an architectural experience.

A multi-level, site-specific structure shaped as a carved, stepped volume where solid and void, mass and transparency reach a precise balance. The installation transforms a technical material into spatial perception.

At its core, the PanelPiù 500/40 5 wall opal modular system becomes a true architectural language: by day, natural light reveals its internal structure: layers, joints, and cellular geometry, emphasizing precision and construction logic, where polycarbonate is not a surface but a system.

By night, the work shifts into atmosphere. Opal surfaces diffuse light into a soft, immersive glow, turning architecture into a luminous, almost immaterial presence.
