White is the symbol of peace, in which all colors, all material properties disappear. Therefore, it acts on our psyche like silence. But this silence is not dead, on the contrary, it is full of possibilities.
The balance of white and black gives birth to gray. Naturally, gray cannot give either movement or sound. Gray is soundless and motionless, but this immobility is of a different nature than that of green, born of two active colors - yellow and blue. Therefore, gray is immobility that shades life.

Rug: Composition IV, Abstraction Collection.
The Abstraction collection is based on the ideas of abstractionism and the generalisation of forms. Still, instead of translating an image into its simplified form, Tapis Rouge created complex compositions from the interaction of multiple shapes, colours, and geometric proportions.

Celebrate Italian Design with the „Inganni Spaziali“ collection, created in collaboration with the graphic designer Armando Milani, which features four stunning carpets—Emozioni, Illusione, Grovigli, and Connessioni. These pieces are large-scale adaptations of Milani’s 1970s analog works.

Originally crafted as a paper maquette with hair collages from various magazines, Grovigli’s design now features 57% wool and 43% silk with a 100 knots/inch² density. The 6 mm pile height offers a soft, tactile feel, while the warm palette and nuanced carving add rhythm to the design. Available in stock!
