Oh India, you will never cease to inspire me. ❤️
After two months in Kerala, I am slowly making my way back to London.
I spent these two months at the Sivananda Dhanwantari Ashram — a magical, holistic place where every day follows the same rhythm: Satsang, meditation and chanting, yoga, a wonderful lunch, karma yoga, lectures, more yoga in the afternoon, dinner, Satsang, bedtime… and repeat.
And somehow, little by little, the mind becomes quiet.
I went there to write my book. Three hours a day, every day. I was lucky enough to meet a wonderful writer who helped me restructure what I had written and gave me some direction.
“Show, don’t tell.”
It sounds simple. It isn’t. But I loved the process. There is still a long way to go before the book is finished, but something has shifted.
I met beautiful people. I practised yoga every day, my body is supple. I spent time in silence. I listened, reflected, wrote, observed.
It has been a deeply introspective journey.
I could have stayed longer. Ashram life suits me.
And now I am sitting at Delhi airport, waiting for my flight back to London. I feel a little overwhelmed by the noise, the movement, the chaos. I already miss the simplicity and rhythm of the ashram.
It has been a kind of mental and physical purification.
I love this country deeply. India inspires me, challenges me and enriches my soul in so many ways.
I am sad to leave, but I am also looking forward to coming home and making colours again.
I hope we haven’t caused too much inconvenience by being closed for so long. I am incredibly grateful for your patience and understanding.
Life is such an incredible gift. Nothing should ever be taken for granted.
Thank you, India. ❤️
That is all I can say.
And now… back to colours.
We will be open again on Monday at 10 . 🎨
