‘The Downstairs Loo’.

I remember when I first moved to Milan to open my design studio, constantly seeing the blank faces when mentioning this particular place in the house - quickly followed by the surprise at me insisting this was of course where the clients favourite wallpaper should be. I hadn’t quite appreciated how ‘very english’ it was of me to assume that everyone see’s their guest loo as an opportunity to perhaps be a little braver or create a fun conversation starter.

I’m pleased to say, I have won over my European clients and contractors and brought a little touch of englishness to the projects we do over here. I thought I would share a couple of my favourites, both UK and beyond.

The Library.

A light filled room looking out onto a serene walled garden. Bold greens, leathers, velvets, mismatch chairs and our clients glorious collection of cricket books - that was our starting point.

What it evolved into was such a joy to bring together, fun unexpected accents, the amazing chinoiserie rug, a bolder Green than even we’d imagined! All balanced by the ever changing backdrop of the garden. A perfect spot for both quiet reading or debating the latest cricket scores.

Centro Milano.

After a long search our clients found this historic properly in the heart of Milan. A special, quirky property with plenty of character and mile high ceilings. With a delicate blend of Milano modern and some carefully curated antiques, we created a welcoming, quietly luxurious space.

With just a couple of months to furnish the apartment before our clients relocation to Milan, we achieved a home that proves renting can inspire creativity, not compromise.

When Milan becomes Home.

We have really enjoyed working on interiors with some of the many families and couples moving to Milan recently. We understand the importance of offering a service that not only streamlines the moving process but allowing it be an enjoyable and exciting one too. We’ve listened to the feedback and we are expanding our team and a new full service relocation package, launching this Summer.

We value the relationships and trust we build with our clients and being able to soon offer an end to end concierge style service is going allow us to truly support our clients to the fullest!

And that’s a wrap on Milan Design Week 2026! It’s been an exciting year for the business, a sense of real buzz and change in Milan and a growing, fierce community of incredible women. A special Thankyou to the incredibly supportive team at for believing in and sharing my mission to bring designers together in Milan. I believe so strongly in supporting other designers, business owners and the importance of open dialogue, story-telling and conversation within our design community. To the superwomen I was so lucky to share the week with, Thankyou for the laughs, wonderful conversation and inspiring collaborative approaches. Watch this space!

Dining with the Dragons 🐉🐲 We completed this sunny yellow drama filled dining room for clients who love to host. We couldn’t be more delighted with the result. Every detail carefully considered and designed to create drama and personality with balance.

Life at the Studio Lately.

Love giving furniture new life with stunning fabrics. These chairs were bought in Poland for our lovely clients in Geneva. Pairing the peachy velvet with this gorgeous fabric is going to pull together so many details we have going on in the living room.
