Pure extra virgin Olive Oil, handmade soaps! Ever tried them?

No other oils or additives, and cured for over three months.

Olive oil is moisturizing! It contains essential fatty acids that benefit dry skin.

Rather than feeling super foamy, olive oil soap has a rich, creamy feeling .

Historically, women have used olive oil on their skin for millennia because it really does work to help keep skin looking youthful and elastic.
Olive oil soap also contains hefty doses of vitamin E and A, which are powerful free radical fighters.

I have made some with lavender essential oil.

It’a glorious summer evening here in Montepulciano. 28*C/82.4*F.
Plums are almost ready to be picked up; had a taste today and I’ll be making preserves very soon.. Once they ripen, they all do, and very quickly!!

For dinner tonight I thought of something simple but super tasty!
Spaguetti alle Vongole. It’s quick and light for a pasta dish.

Ingredients:
Spaghetti, clams, garlic, parsley and of course the best quality olive oil:
ALLEGORY OLIVE OIL!

Try it and you’ll be hooked!

Summer has finally started and the rain is behind us. My basil is growing so swiftly that my first thought was:
How about making some mouthwatering pesto?🌱

Now, for this recipe you really need superb extra virgin olive oil, ALLEGORY Olive Oil!

INGREDIENTS

½ cup pine nuts
3 oz. Parmesan, grated
2 garlic cloves, finely grated
6 cups basil leaves
¾ cup Allegory Olive Oil
1 tsp.salt

I like to toast the pine nuts a little bit, then I let them cool. In a food processor I mix garlic and parmesan, then add the pine nuts and mix for about one minute. Add basil, and with the food processor still running add oil in a slow stream, until pesto is mostly smooth. Season with salt to taste.

I would choose some linguine for this pesto, long thin pasta works best!

Hello again!

Summer is approaching, and if there is a salad that represents summer to me, is a Caprese salad.
Simple ingredients and super easy to make!
Juicy tomatoes, fresh basil,sliced fresh mozzarella, salt and pepper, some balsamic glaze and the best olive oil you can find!!

To the beautiful people who truly love Italy, and this year’s summer trip has turned into just a dream, how about making the most delicious bruschetta wherever you are?

You will need few but good quality ingredients: Slices of crusty bread,( I like to toast mine), garlic to rub on the bread, chopped Roma tomatoes or cherry tomatoes if you prefer, salt and pepper, and of course great extra virgin olive oil, Allegory Olive Oil!

Sprinkle some chopped basil on them and Buon Appetito!!

My extra virgin olive oil is natural, cold first pressed and the trees are almost one hundred years old; they produce superior olives!

We’ll miss you here in Tuscany this year, but If you are in Europe, Canada or the U.S.A, I’ll be happy to ship this delicious olive oil to you, and I assure you, you will not forget the taste!

L’Olivo della Strega or Witch’s Olive, in Magliano, Tuscany, is estimated to be over 3.500 years old, one of the oldest olive tress in the world!

“It is said that the name goes back to the middle ages when the olive tree of Magliano was considered a meeting place of all the witches of Maremma.

The particular night, at which participated also fauns and Centaurs, was that of Saint John, June 23 and 24, date between the traditionally linked to the pagan rituals of the summer solstice.

The most common legend tells of a witch who every Friday, dancing around the tree thus forcing the plant to squirm until it assumed its present form. At the end of the Satanic rite the witch turned into a huge fiery-eyed cat and remained to watch the tree all night.”
