I learnt about the pause feature on iPhone video yesterday and thought I’d give it a try. It’s so cool, no need to edit clips, just pause and resume with the next frame. I may be late to the party but I’m my defence, I rarely use my phone to shoot videos. 😬

The season of silk sarees is here! The festive season began here with Varmahalakshmi, last Friday. I genuinely look forward to this time of the year with so many opportunities to bring out the beautiful silks. Hehe. I always forget to take pictures, these are a few from over the years / when I had to take pictures for a shoot. This year I intend to document every saree outfit, hope I remember; I forgot to do so on Friday. 🙄

Not that I do anything extra, my draping is simple and my blouses are simply stitched. I wear one highlight piece of jewellery. I feel that the sarees are so gorgeous, they don’t need much around them. I love the Kanjeevarams and Dharmavarams but my favourite of all time will always be Mysore Silk. The way it just drapes and falls… love! And so so comfortable.

Next on my list is a beautiful Banarasi silk, I don’t have one. What’s your favourite weave?

That Brunch Table. 🌿
The kind that brings people together and turns everyday moments into cherished memories

For today’s setting, I’ve paired the delicate, hand-painted florals of the Jasmine collection with the rustic warmth of the Parthiv mango wood serveware.
The soothing blues and greens, beautifully complemented by timeless Ajrakh-inspired craftsmanship, create a table that feels inviting, elegant, and full of character.
There’s something truly special about creating spaces that celebrate togetherness and India’s rich artisanal heritage.

Thank you, Fabindia, for inspiring beautiful moments at home.
I got this collection from Fabindia Koramangala Home & Garments📍

I can live on salads! And I actually love putting together this rather simple one for a quick meal. Baby spinach, orange segments and lightly toasted walnuts for that crunch. Top it with a simple vinaigrette dressing and we are good to go. Soft boiled eggs for creaminess and protein.

What about you? Salad person or not?

Also, how good is the Dutch oven for one pot meals?! It’s actually perfect for a no-fuss cook like me. Put it all in and relax while the magic happens. 😁

She refused to move. :)

I usually try to avoid having our babies in pictures that are going up on the gram, call me superstitious but when it comes to them I feel ki nazar lag jayegi. 🙈
Nevertheless, put good nazar people, ok? Hehe.

We had to buy a new carpet because Kulfi went sick all over our old one, bloody p**p and all. Sweet girl is doing fine now and has made this her new favourite spot. And Happy has a new bum scratcher. 😂 Rafa and June are couch people, so new rugs don’t matter to them so much.

If you read all the way here, very kind of you to take in information that is of no use to you and sorry if I couldn’t make it worth your while. 😁

Oh and the planter in frame is from . There I have something useful for you. ♥️

These planters from are definitely WOW! 😁
A piece that can multitask as a planter, pouffe and a side table, now wouldn’t you want that? And hey, if it’s a planter from WOW Space, the quality and good looks go without saying. ♥️
