REDESIGN LARGE AND BRIGHT APARTMENT
The project proposes the complete redesign of a large and bright apartment, using a modern interpretation, making it contemporary and tailored to the demands and lifestyle of the owners. The design approach is characterized by a search for a contemporary style with the inclusion of traditional materials such as wood and stone, in harmony with the context where the house is inserted. Following the advice of the customer, an attic floor was obtained, dedicated to the sleeping area. The glass becomes a common thread of visual connection with the attic floor where it was chosen to cover a portion of the slab below the truss in order to obtain a continuity with the floors and a scenic lighting from above. The design concept embraces the philosophy of lighting design to emphasize both natural and artificial light through the use of LED technology. Neutral tones were used for the finishes of the walls and ceilings, clean lines and neutral colors for the furniture in order to enhance the morphology and conformation of the spaces. The existing wooden roof was consolidated and restored by inserting velux for lighting and ventilation of the interior rooms.
