Ceramica Rondine x Ristorante a Firenze

Un locale dismesso che torna a vivere, trasformato in uno spazio contemporaneo capace di dialogare con la città.
In questo ristorante a Firenze l’esperienza si costruisce attorno all’acqua, alla luce e alla materia. La vasca e la cascata scenografica diventano il cuore dell’area outdoor, mentre le superfici ceramiche accompagnano e definiscono ogni ambiente con coerenza.
All’interno, Volcano crea uno sfondo materico per gli arredi su misura. All’esterno, insieme a Greenwood, costruisce continuità tra pavimentazioni e rivestimenti. Nei servizi, Volume disegna pareti essenziali ma distintive.
Un progetto in cui il rivestimento non è solo finitura, ma parte integrante dell’identità dello spazio.

A disused space comes back to life, transformed into a contemporary space capable of interacting with the city.
In this restaurant in Florence, the experience is built around water, light, and matter. The pool and the spectacular waterfall become the heart of the outdoor area, while the ceramic surfaces accompany and define each environment with consistency.
Inside, Volcano creates a textured backdrop for the custom-made furnishings. Outside, together with Greenwood, it creates continuity between the flooring and wall coverings. In the bathrooms, Volume designs simple yet distinctive walls.
A project in which the wall covering is not just a finish, but an integral part of the identity of the space.

Life nasce per dare ritmo alle superfici.
Un brick allungato che lavora sulla luce, sulla profondità e sulla materia, trasformando la parete in un elemento vivo e mai statico.
La superficie lucida e leggermente ondulata cattura i riflessi, mentre la graniglia ceramica ad alta trasparenza costruisce una vibrazione visiva intensa, quasi tridimensionale. Un richiamo diretto all’artigianalità delle maioliche mediterranee, reinterpretata in chiave contemporanea.
Un rivestimento che non si limita a vestire le pareti, ma ne definisce il carattere.

An elongated brick that plays with light, depth, and material, transforming the wall into a living, never static element.
The glossy, slightly undulating surface captures reflections, while the highly transparent ceramic grit creates an intense, almost three-dimensional visual vibration. A direct reference to the craftsmanship of Mediterranean majolica, reinterpreted in a contemporary key.
