Everything about a time with other fibre enthusiasts is amazing. I loved my class with Stephanie Pearl-McPhee’s, also known as the Yarn Harlot’s, embroidery on knitting. I even added it to mittens I knit for Christmas. She made me feel like I was good at embroidery, the beautiful wok in the picture is mine. Wow a new skill!

Happy New Year. 2026 will be a year of finishing projects and using stash. I am planning a low buy year and a clean out off my office/craft room.

Since I am finishing my courses, I will be focused on my thesis proposal and data collection of information on the uniqueness of island fibre festivals.
