Glamora’s mission is to create wallcoverings that stir the emotions and help make inspiring spaces where people love to spend time.

Created in 2010, Glamora conveys the idea of living a dream through collections of custom wallcoverings inspired by art, design, and nature, and crafted with exquisite, natural, sustainable materials. From urban apartments and country homes to retail spaces, high-end boutiques, restaurants, hotels, spas and gyms, Glamora’s functional and decorative solutions complements beautifully both private and commercial settings. Glamora has worked on the following major projects and collaborations: the Armani Tower in Miami; the Bulgari Penthouse in Dubai; the Indigo Hotel in Venice; the Mandarin Oriental on Lake Como; the JP Morgan Campus in Palo Alto; the Meliá Hotel in Valencia; the Hyatt Hotel in Rostov on Don in Russia; Google’s headquarters in New York; Amazon’s offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Paris; and Tripadvisor’s headquarters in Boston. Glamora’s work has been awarded by important design awards including Compasso D’Oro, German Design Award and Financial Times 1000.

What do we perceive when we enter a room?

As a painting is being hung, the conversation moves between the face of an old woman in an antique portrait and the immediacy of pure fields of colour. One evokes memory and time; the other acts directly on perception.

Yet both reveal the same thing: a wall is never neutral. Colour, matter, light and memory resonate together, shaping sensations that often precede words.

It’s not about decoration, it’s about emotion. The subtle power of a surface to change the way a space is felt.

In this private residence in Brera, two wallcoverings respond to distinct spaces.
At the entrance, Dolci voli dell’amor transforms a niche into an intimate pause, its six materials united by a fine golden line. Along the double-height staircase, Marguerite follows the architecture’s verticality, while the silk-like luminosity of GlamSatin shifts with the light.

In Original Xerographies, Bruno Munari transforms repetition into a field of possibilities: a slight movement, a shift in rhythm, a new relationship between gesture and space.

What begins as reproduction becomes an act of creation, where graphic signs meet, overlap and respond to one another.

A way of thinking that continues to inspire us: composition not as something fixed, but as an open dialogue between gesture, rhythm and possibility.
