A pair of Italian stools from the 1930s, characterised by a geometric construction and a refined combination of materials. The substantial rectangular top is supported by four slender cylindrical chrome-plated metal uprights that visually separate it from the base, creating a composition of clearly defined volumes and an unexpected sense of lightness.

The tops are veneered in bird's-eye maple, whose dense figuring and warm golden tone enhance the broad surfaces. The wood contrasts with the reflective chrome-plated supports and the black base, distinguished by a shaped profile with symmetrical recesses along the sides. The combination of figured wood, metal and dark surfaces gives the stools a strong graphic quality while clearly emphasising each element of their construction.

Their low, elongated proportions, symmetry and contrast between refined materials and essential geometries fully reflect the character of 1930s Italian furniture. The decorative richness of the bird's-eye maple is balanced by the linear chrome structure and the distinctive profile of the base, resulting in two pieces with an elegant and strongly architectural presence.

Condition: Good overall condition. Some signs of wear and 2 small losses to the veneer.

Dimensions: Width 60.5 cm - Depth 40.5 cm - Height 49.5 cm

A Space Age console from the 1970s, characterised by a compact structure and a strongly sculptural design defined by continuous surfaces, rounded corners and large open compartments. The contrast between the white-painted elements and the exposed wood emphasises the geometry of the piece and reflects the futuristic language that emerged in design between the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Made of wood, the console features a partially white-painted structure that wraps around the different levels with a continuous, softly rounded profile. Two large open compartments are defined by natural wood back panels and surfaces, whose warm tone creates a striking contrast with the white finish. The slightly recessed upper surface is framed at the sides by the continuation of the curved structure and completed by a slender wooden edge along the back.

The rounded forms and continuity of the surfaces give the console a sculptural character closely associated with Space Age design. A distinctive and highly recognisable piece in which the futuristic aesthetic of the period is interpreted through the combination of organic forms, white surfaces and natural wood.

Condition: Good overall condition, with some signs of wear and areas of paint loss.

A floor-to-ceiling lamp from the 1970s, characterised by an essential vertical structure fitted with four adjustable light sources. The long chrome-plated stem and spherical spotlights create a technical and functional design, reflecting the experimentation with modular and flexible lighting that characterised the period.

The structure is made of chrome-plated metal and features a telescopic system that allows its height to be adjusted and the lamp to be secured between floor and ceiling. Four chrome-plated spotlights are individually mounted along the stem and can be oriented to direct the light in different directions. The exposed black coiled cables connect each light and become an integral part of the technical language of the design.

The possibility of adjusting both the position of the spotlights and the direction of the light makes the lamp particularly versatile, allowing it to provide general illumination or highlight specific areas of an interior. Its strong vertical presence and minimal footprint give the lamp an architectural quality, reflecting the 1970s approach to lighting as a flexible element integrated into the surrounding space.

Condition: Good overall condition, with minor signs of wear and some areas of rust.

An Italian chandelier from the 1970s characterised by a geometric chrome-plated metal structure surrounded by a composition of transparent glass elements. The design is defined by the contrast between the rigorous metal framework and the irregular, highly textured quality of the glass, giving the lamp a strong sculptural presence.

The square central structure supports four orthogonally arranged arms carrying the light sources. Around it, the diffuser is composed of glass panels of different sizes arranged on multiple levels and secured by small metal fittings. The glass features a strongly textured surface, with irregular edges and variations in thickness that emphasise its material quality and create constantly changing effects of refraction.

When illuminated, the chandelier takes on a distinctly different appearance: light passes through the irregular glass surfaces, creating reflections and luminous variations, while the chrome-plated metal further amplifies the brightness of the composition. The overlapping glass panels create a compact yet visually dynamic volume, representative of the experimentation with glass and metal that characterised much Italian lighting design during the 1970s.

Condition: Good overall condition, minor signs of use.

A three-arm chrome-plated metal floor lamp from the 1970s, a design that interprets light as a compositional element through a balance of sweeping curves, reflective surfaces and essential volumes. The arrangement of the three shades gives the structure a dynamic presence, transforming a functional object into a sculptural composition.

The chrome-plated metal structure rises from a central stem from which three arms of varying heights extend, each fitted with an adjustable hemispherical shade. The polished surfaces enhance the dialogue between light and material, while the black lacquered circular base discreetly balances the composition, reinforcing its visual lightness. The adjustable shades allow the light to be directed according to different needs, combining formal refinement with functionality.

An expression of Italian design from the 1970s, this floor lamp reflects the pursuit of an essential design language, where pure geometries and technical solutions coexist naturally. A project that remains remarkably contemporary, combining compositional rigour with a strong sculptural presence.

Condition: Good overall condition, with normal signs of age and use. Minor surface scratches and small areas of oxidation are present on the chrome finish. Fully working electrical system.

Dimensions: Width 120 cm - Depth 30 cm - Height 194 cm

"Eco" dinner service for six, designed by Giovanni Gariboldi for Richard Ginori in the 1970s, is a refined expression of the designer's modern approach to tableware. Clean lines, balanced proportions and a sophisticated palette of blue, grey and ivory create a timeless service that combines functionality with understated elegance.

The decoration is defined by subtle concentric bands following the contours of each piece, enhancing their geometry without relying on elaborate ornamentation. The contrast between the warm ivory interior and the deep blue glazed exterior, softened by a pale grey-blue border, gives the service remarkable visual depth while maintaining a restrained aesthetic. The cylindrical biscuit jar with its domed lid and distinctive twin circular finger grips completes the ensemble, becoming one of its most recognizable features.

Produced by Richard Ginori, the "Eco" model stands among the finest examples of Italian industrial design applied to everyday objects, where practicality, manufacturing excellence and aesthetic research coexist in perfect harmony. Its minimalist character remains remarkably contemporary, making it equally suited to modern and traditional interiors.

A modular shelving unit with uprights from the 1960s, characterised by an architectural composition in which uprights, shelves and storage units come together in a rigorous and perfectly balanced design.

The wooden uprights, intersected by black metal elements, establish the vertical rhythm of the structure while supporting shelves and storage modules in an orderly sequence of solids and voids. The teak veneer, selected for the continuity of its grain, enhances the clean surfaces, while the unit with four grooved drawers introduces a refined point of variation within the composition. The enclosed storage volumes appear to float between the uprights, visually lightening the structure without compromising its solidity.

The balance between the vertical and horizontal elements gives the shelving unit an essential yet distinctive presence, where every component contributes to the overall composition. A design that interprets the modular system with compositional rigour and careful attention to detail, transforming a functional structure into a piece of timeless elegance.

Condition: Good overall condition, minor signs of use.

The lightness of the black lacquered metal frame and the warmth of teak define this modular bookcase produced by Amma Torino during the 1960s, a design that perfectly reflects the Italian interest of the period in flexible, rational and highly functional furnishing systems. The slender uprights support the shelves and suspended cabinet with remarkable visual lightness, allowing the composition to be defined by the balance between solid volumes and open space.

The lower cabinet with sliding doors concentrates the storage function within a compact volume, while the two upper shelves create an open display area that establishes a natural dialogue with the surrounding architecture. The adjustable positioning of the elements along the uprights highlights the modular concept behind the project, a feature that became central to Italian furniture design of the 1960s as interiors increasingly demanded adaptable and versatile solutions.

The teak veneer, selected for the continuity of its grain, provides warmth and material richness while contrasting elegantly with the restrained metal structure. Small recessed circular pulls and the clean geometry of the sliding doors reinforce the essential vocabulary of the design, free from unnecessary ornamentation. The result is a refined example of Italian modernist furniture, combining modularity, practicality and understated sophistication with a timeless architectural presence.
