Silver mica flakes emerge through the surface as small mineral reflections suspended within the wall.

Composed of lime, marble powders and silvery mica flakes, Stars develops a texture that moves between smooth and more textured areas, creating a surface that never appears static.
As light changes throughout the day, the finish reveals different depths, shadows and reflections — at times soft and understated, at times unexpectedly vibrant.
A finish inspired by the quiet complexity of natural materials.

Furniture doesn’t have to be heavy to feel like stone.
Petrae is designed to be applied not only on walls, but also on wood and plywood surfaces — bringing a mineral presence to furniture while keeping it light, practical, and functional.
Tables, kitchen counters, shelving: surfaces that carry the aesthetic and tactile quality of stone, without its weight or constraints.
A way to introduce material depth into a space through objects, not only architecture.
The solidity of stone. The lightness of wood.

Petrae
A smooth, matt plaster that captures the essence of natural stone. Inspired by traditional Italian materials, it recalls the timeless character of Pietra di Vicenza, Pietra Serena, and Sorrento stone.
From walls to bespoke furniture — tables, kitchen counters — it reveals its presence in the details: a dense matrix of micro-stones that creates a soft visual depth and an authentic tactile feel.
A versatile material that combines solidity with a refined, timeless aesthetic.
The emotion of stone, shaped by the artisan’s hand.

Lava Plaster
A lime-based finish that develops exceptional mineral hardness as it cures. Strong enough to hold deep textures and sculpted reliefs — without chipping, even on large surfaces.
Tactile and highly versatile, it moves easily between rustic and contemporary. It can be enriched with pearlescent or metallic waxes to create more layered, atmospheric finishes.
A material that gives volume to the wall, and turns surface into form.

Light doesn’t just illuminate a space; it shapes it. In this project by , the bond between light and color becomes tangible through the choice of Marmorino Medium.

This finish is not merely a surface but a material that actively interacts with its surroundings. Thanks to properties of lime and marble, and specialised burnishing techniques, Marmorino Medium creates subtle chiaroscuro effects that add a unique sense of depth to the walls. The surface—smooth and slightly lustrous—reflects light softly, reminiscent of the rippling reflections of canal water dancing across the façades of Venetian palaces.

Excellence is found in the coherence of materials.

In this project, the Marmorino Medium was masterfully pigmented to mirror the warm, earthy palette of the Golden Rose Marble. This perfect dialogue between natural material and handcrafted finish turns the bathroom into a modern masterpiece.

If you’re a painter, you already know this:

Paint is fast.
Paint is repeatable.
Paint is easily substituted.

Decorative finishes are different.

They turn a wall into a crafted surface, not a coated one.
They slow the process down and increase its value.
They move you out of price competition and into specialisation.

Learning lime-based decorative finishes means:
• higher value per project
• clients who value craft over speed
• a skill that develops with experience, rather than wearing you out

This is where that transition begins. Foundational training in Textured Finishes and Venetian Plaster & Tadelakt, taught in Italy and focused on real technique, authentic materials, and real-world application.

In the evolving landscape of contemporary architecture there is a distinct emphasis on enhancing the tactile and visual impact of materials.

Plastering furniture is part of this shift. It allows lightweight structures in wood or plywood to take on the visual presence of stone or concrete, without losing functionality. Doors, tables, drawers, and desks become continuous surfaces — tactile, durable, and integral to the space rather than simply placed within it.

When applied with the right system, decorative plasters transform everyday objects into architectural elements, offering a wide range of aesthetic expressions while respecting the material logic of the support.

This carousel outlines the method behind that transformation: from preparation to protection.
