MaKa There was a dream...a dream to make something special. That how this side was born! The love child was dubbed “Maka”. In Hawaiian it means beloved one. My Maka.

So that’s my beloved child. My space. My word. My passion. Made with love.

Been exploring softer palettes lately. This piece became an exercise in softness, stillness, and nostalgia.
Which detail catches your eye first? Candle or lemons? Would you hang this in your home?
“Lemons and candle”, acrylic on paper.

April slipped by a little more quietly than I’d hoped, without much creative spark—but maybe that’s just part of the rhythm…I’m holding onto the thought that May might bring fresh energy, new ideas, and a different kind of inspiration.
In the meantime, I’ve been looking back through the past few weeks, gathering small moments that felt worth keeping.

Snippets of my home.
Some days the light falls just right.
Other days, it simply rests where it can.
But every corner carries intention.
Every room hums with quiet purpose.
Every imperfect detail tells the story of becoming.
I’m grateful for the slow progress, for the peace that settles into the walls, for the small, ordinary moments that gently turn a house into a home.

February slipped through my fingers before I could frame it in words-so here are the moments I caught instead.
Frozen glances, quiet light, the hush between heartbeats. And now, March arrives-soft as a promise, stretching the days a little longer, carrying the first brave whispers of spring.
Time moves on, but these pieces remain-little proofs that even in passing, beauty paused for us.

This painting was born by accident.
A small mistake turned into an unexpected beginning.
The canvas was glued the wrong way around, leaving me with its raw, untouched surface — and the feeling that nothing should ever go to waste.
Inspired by a photograph by , I followed instinct instead of plan.
And somehow, this piece became one I truly love💙

Photos from January, last year and now.
A poem I wrote.
I decided that every now and then,
I would leave something behind in words.
January arrives quietly, without asking me to be bright or brave.
It moves slowly, nourishing the parts of me that are still tired, still tender.
In its hush, I learn that rest is not absence but preparation,
that even in the coldest days, something unseen is taking root.
January does not rush me—it keeps me,
and that is enough for now.
Have a great weekend 🫶🏻

January is moving slowly this year, as if asking to be noticed. I’ve been home more, letting the days unfold in soft pieces—warm meals, small projects, quiet resets. Less rushing, more noticing. A necessary stillness before spring arrives loud and full.

A little update in the bedroom. I needed to hang my paintings somewhere. I definitely haven’t been painting enough lately. I think it’s time to change that…

So this year, my dears, I wish you a joyful time of doing nothing, relaxing, cutting and decorating gingerbread cookies, reading books with your children under a warm blanket, popcorn for a Christmas movie/story, long walks, the smell of a Christmas tree that will be imperfect, but yours and unique...
Will you remember the gift that was under the tree, or the washed floor, or the new tablecloth on the Christmas table, or rather the scents, flavors, atmosphere, and above all, the moments spent with your loved ones...
It’s the moments we remember, the short ones and the slightly longer ones. Some are fleeting, others we remember for the rest of our lives, some mean less, others more, but they are what create the whole picture of the holidays.
So...stop for a moment and make the most of every second, every moment...because Christmas doesn’t have to be like something out of a magazine...
Merry Christmas everyone 🎄✨❤️
